Finding one of these that was not made of plastic was not an easy feat—but this find was well worth it. Walnut base with a natural, non-cardboard, scratcher and a hit of gold. Personally, I would not install that fuzzy ball for aesthetic purposes but I’m sure my cat would love it.

I’m sorry, did someone say mid-century modern? This, might I say gorgeous(?) scratcher that disguises itself as modern art is a must have in my books. The shape is ideal for a cat to sleep on and they LOVE the scratching.

4. Wall-Mount Scratcher

Want the same vibe but you don’t have a lot of spare floor space? This scratcher could be used on the floor or mounted on the wall. With functionality, you do not lose style. This comes in either the cream color seen here, or a natural wood that will fit in a pre rustic or Scandinavian home.
