It’s Camping Season!
If you’re anything like my family, camping is a huge part of your summer recreational activities! I’ve learned via trial and error some of the supplies you MUST have for seamless camping with your dog.
1. Tether
I spent time taking my dog on his leash with me to the bathroom, putting him in the car while I showered, tying him around the picnic table while we cooked, and tying his leash around a tree while I read. I thought, there MUST be a better way to camp in places where dogs aren’t allowed off of their leashes. I bought this cheap tether that just screws into the ground and boom, camping with Tait became so much easier!
2. Foldable (luxury) Dog Bed
A great addition to lay on the grass, gravel, or dirt somewhere within your dogs tether is a designated camping bed! A little home away from home that lets them snuggle up. Though it is a bit of a splurge, it is definitely worth it as this one is my pup’s favorite! It also keeps them off of a muddy and wet ground which makes for easy clean up as well.
3. Collapsible Backpacking Bowls
This super useful, space saving product is game changing for feeding and hydrating your pup while out and about—these are also great to just leave in the car for daily doggo water breaks!
4. Water-resistant Portable Kibble Bag with Scoop
These portable storage bags are also a great item to leave in the car for emergencies. Just fill with some dry food and you’re all good to go! I personally love these bags and keep one in my trunk filled with dry food in case i need it. They also match the portable bowls perfectly!
Now that you’re ready for the great outdoors, we hope you have an amazingly adventurous spring! Don’t forget to checkout our other blogs to get you ready for all seasons!
